The EURUSD has made new lows but trades in a choppy fashion. Nevertheless the bias is down and the key resistance above at he 1.3534 level held. The pair should end the week below the 100 day moving average. Today it moved back below the 100 hour MA and looks like a test of the 61.8% retracement of the move up from the low of 1.2329 to the high of 1.4719. The target level for the move comes in at 1.3242.
Next week the ECB meets and is expected to cut rates by 50 basis points. The meeting takes place on Thursday. Before the announcement, the CPI for the month will be announced. The expectation is for a decline of 0.1% for the month and the YoY is expected to fall to 1.6% - below the 2% lower target level.
